Heliamphora sarracenioides {chubby form, Ptari Tepui, Venezuela} | Best Carnivorous Plants | H033-07 | Representative

$ 59.99

Heliamphora sarracenioides is a theorized missing evolutionary link between the genera Heliamphora and Sarracenia. Rather than producing a small domed lid, this species produces a wide operculum that tapers to an acute point. This particular clone from Best Carnivorous Plants is a ‘chubby’ form which results in traps that are much more bulbous than the typical form. This species produces delightfully dark traps that open bright orange-red and fade to a dark burgundy. We recommend this plant to anyone who wants to upgrade their highland collection with a truly unique carnivorous specimen!
