Heliamphora uncinata {Amuri Tepui, Venezuela} | Best Carnivorous Plants | H035 | Representative

$ 29.99

Heliamphora uncinata is a relatively new species to cultivation having only been discovered in 2009. This species stands out because of its sharply downturned nectar spoon which is where the name uncinata is derived. Pitchers of this species are a delightful light green and are adorned with dense white hairs which makes them glisten in the light. When exposed to high light the upper portions of the trap will blush a pinkish red creating a stunning visual display. The wide mouth and wonderful coloration of this plant make it a strong candidate for breeding projects and would make an excellent addition to a highland collection.
