Combining the egg-like shape and delicate definition of Nepenthes gymnamphora with the strikingly dark vicious peristome of Nepenthes hamata is a surefire recipe for success. We’ve observed that hybrids with Nepenthes hamata often carry over their dark coloration and teeth while keeping the shape of the other plant involved. We expect toothy, dark, squat pitchers that form tight rosettes with short internodes. This hybrid will be a delight to grow and watch mature!
