This is a stunning cross created here at Florae Collaborative!
We combined the jaw-dropping flare and coloration of Nepenthes lvb x vmv with the vicious teeth of Nepenthes edwardsiana to create a hybrid like no other! Offspring of this cross are always toothy but the coloration varies from clone to clone. Some specimens are a solid blood red, some are a pale yellow with striped coloration on the peristome, and other plants are somewhere in between with red peristomes and dark stripes.
Clone 6 of this hybrid is a new release and we are looking forward to the unique genetics this variation will bring to the table!
