Nepenthes mikei is a diminutive highland species from Sumatra. This plant produces black pitcher bodies with striking yellow peristomes and trap openings, and the bodies of these plants are mottled in a similar fashion. This creates a unique high-contrast appearance! Nepenthes mikei is quick to vine and often has multiple growth points simultaneously, creating a large network of scrambling leaves adorned with beautiful electrically colored traps. This species is a must-have for highland collectors!
