The variability of Nepenthes truncata is one of the appeals to growing this massive species! This particular clone was donated to Borneo Exotics in 2019 from a botanical garden in Singapore. Often, Nepenthes truncata is known as a lowland species but this clone has shown adaptability to highland and intermediate conditions. The hardiness of this species is never to be underestimated and we are always pleased with how well these plants grow once they are settled in. Expect large pitchers with stripes that fade to a golden-orange coloration as the trap ages.
