Washed coconut coir is our signature media mix. La crème de la crème!
We wash all of our coconut coir until it has a total dissolved salts (TDS) of less than 30ppm. Coconut coir is a great medium for carnivorous and tropical plants. It also has a smaller ecological footprint than sphagnum moss mixes. It provides the right conditions for plant health without the risk of a waterlogged pot.
All our soil mixes use 100% compostable packaging!
Potting Guidelines
Before using, mix and moisten thoroughly with either distilled water, rainwater, or reverse osmosis water. Once damp, fill your pots without packing them tight and pot your plants. A three-liter bag can fill the following:
Small Pot: 9
Medium Pot: 6
Large Pot: 3
