Utricularia sandersonii is a charming bladderwort adaptable to a wide range of conditions. Carnivorous traps grow and proliferate under the soil, while small charming leaves spread aboveground. When provided with bright light, this plant will produce flushes of charming lobed flowers that have been described as small angry faces! This particular cultivar of Utricularia sandersonii is a blue form that we find quite charming and easy to grow. Utricularia sandersonii functions well as an addition to a terrarium, a companion plant for tropical carnivorous plants, or simply on its own as a display piece quickly producing large clumps of foliage accompanied by numerous blooms.
